Charter Notifications

The WCPFC Charter Notification Scheme is established under Conservation and Management Measure on Charter Notification Scheme (101.9 KB) .  The WCPFC Charter Notification Scheme was first established by CMM 2009-08, which was extended by CMM 2011-05, and then CMM 2012-05.   

Each chartering Member of Participating Territory is to notify the Commission of any vessel to be identified as chartered in accordance with this measure by sending notification to the Executive Director.  Only vessels listed on the WCPFC Record of Fishing Vessels or the WCPFC Interim Register of Non-CCM Carriers and Bunkers, and not on the WCPFC IUU list, or IUU list of another RFMO, are eligible for charter.
